On defining the product r-k⋅∇lδ

چکیده
Let ρ(s) be a fixed infinitely differentiable function defined on R+ = [0,∞) having the properties: (i) ρ(s) ≥ 0, (ii) ρ(s) = 0 for s ≥ 1, and (iii) Rm δn(x)dx = 1 where δn(x) = cmnmρ(n2r2) and cm is the constant satisfying (iii). We overcome difficulties arising from computing ∇lδn and express this regular sequence by two mutual recursions and use a Java swing program to evaluate corresponding coefficients. Hence, we are able to imply the distributional product r−k ·∇lδ for k = 1,2, . . . and l = 0,1,2, . . . with the help of Pizetti’s formula and the normalization.

LULU operators and locally δ-monotone approximations
The LULU operators, well known in the nonlinear multiresolution analysis of sequences, are extended to functions defined on continuous domain, namely, a real interval Ω ⊆ R. Similar to their discrete counterparts, for a given δ > 0 the operators Lδ and Uδ form a fully ordered semi-group of four elements. It is shown that the compositions Lδ ◦ Uδ and Uδ ◦ Lδ provide locally δ-monotone approximat...
متن کاملThe Sequential Approach to the Product of Distribution
It is well known that the sequential approach is one of the main tools of dealing with product, power, and convolution of distribution (cf. Chen (1981), Colombeau (1985), Jones (1973), and Rosinger (1987)). Antosik, Mikusiński, and Sikorski in 1972 introduced a definition for a product of distributions using a delta sequence. However, δ2 as a product of δ with itself was shown not to exist (see...
متن کاملA Revised Proof of Spirallikeness
In this paper, we present a proof for spirallikeness of injective holomorphic functions which is based on topological considerations. The proof exploits a continuous extending method applied to certain paths in the unit disk. Introduction Given δ ∈ (−π/2;π/2) and z ∈ C \ {0}, let (0.1) Lδ(z) := {exp(et)z : t ∈ (−∞; 0]} , i.e., Lδ is a logarithmic spiral. Geometrically, it intersects each half-l...
متن کاملThe Generalized Wiener Polarity Index of some Graph Operations
Let G be a simple connected graph. The generalized polarity Wiener index of G is defined as the number of unordered pairs of vertices of G whose distance is k. Some formulas are obtained for computing the generalized polarity Wiener index of the Cartesian product and the tensor product of graphs in this article.

Let D ⊂ R be a bounded domain and denote by P(D) the space of probability measures on D. Let L = 1 2 ∇ · a∇+ b∇ be a second order elliptic operator. Let μ ∈ P(D) and δ > 0. Consider a Markov process X(t) in D which performs diffusion in D generated by the operator δL and is stopped at the boundary, and which while running, jumps instantaneously, according to an exponential clock with spatially ...
